It did the job of being spooky in my Halloween graveyard...I have to say it was probably my favorite "ground breaker". The stakes are pretty flimsy, but if you poke a hole first in hard ground, then put the stakes in, they work well enough. I may end up purchasing another one for next year. A word of caution though...it is "weather proof" as long as you don't touch it when it's wet from rain or dew. If you do try to dry it off, the white and black "highlight paint" will rub off. Rinse it off from being in the ground, just don't "wash" it.
Want to create the Halloween decorations of your dreams? We think Freddy Krueger window cling is the piece you’re looking for. This cling shows Freddie Krueger at his most menacing. He’s sure to cause jumps and shrieks from folks who walk by your home. Just try not to display this masterpiece in your bedroom. He just might work his way into your dreams.
Take your Halloween party to the next level with our Halloween decorations! We have lots of unique props and Halloween decorations to choose from to make your event extra memorable. Whether you want a pirate chest to keep your beverages chilled or a webcaster gun that will quickly add realistic spider webs to your decor, we have all the best decorations right here!

The head and arms are made from a heavy weight plastic, not out of foam. They are full human size with the face being 8" from chin to top of forehead. There is a concealed stake included to keep the head from blowing away and both "arms" are stakes. It will be a great add to any creepy Halloween graveyard. Just add a little mulch around it to give the appearance of crawling out of the ground. The color is darker than the picture and I like it!

Step 1: Purchase an indoor/outdoor needle-punch carpet. To turn it into a circle: Mark the rug's center point with a Prismacolor white-colored pencil. Measure and mark the distance from that point to a spot about half an inch from the rug's edge. Cut a piece of string to that length. Tie one end of the string to the pencil and secure the other end of the string to the rug's center point with a tack. Pull the string taut and draw a large circle onto the rug; remove the string. Cut out the circle, just inside the white pencil mark, with sharp scissors.

While decorating ideas can be difficult to come across, this spider webby idea can scare anyone. Window clings create a scary giant spider and web. Rat clings can be added to the bottom of the window or the screen door to show a better, scarier scene. The spider web can be created from a window cling or from the fake spider webs available around this time of year. DIY Halloween door decorations have a lot going on this one – the spider and its web can be created with window paint and a steady hand instead of store bought materials, or with tape.

Nothing will bring your haunted scenes to life quite like one of our Halloween animatronics. Here at Spirit, our Halloween animatronics are more than just moving and talking props; they're characters all of their own, with each featuring a different backstory. And the best part? You can decide whether or not to include in your haunted home, or to create your own stories for these horrifying creatures. You won't have to worry about your guests finding your haunted home to be a bit lackluster (and you won't have to hire your family members to jump out and scare people every time!) when you set up these animatronics in any or every room.

October is a weird month. It’s a season of colorful skies and leaves. But it’s also a month with misty, cold mornings and dark, scraggly trees. It’s fun to mix and match the elements with Halloween décor. A glowing graveyard scene looks plenty cheerful in the light of day, making little kids hoot and holler in holiday excitement as they head home from school. But then night comes along and your little scene will remind the adults walking about of the fear and excitement they felt when they were children. While Christmas décor might inspire folks to go home and drink cocoa, your décor will make people want to curl up in front of their favorite horror movie under a cozy blanket. Sweet or spooky, it’s all about getting into the holiday spirit!
Create your own creepy graveyard scene with our Halloween tombstones and outdoor cemetery decorations, all-weather outdoor Halloween decorations that are good for indoor use as well. Here you'll find all the cemetery decorations you need: gothic fencing, dense foam tombstones "weathered" to look like the real things, light-up lawn skeletons, plastic chains with shackles, and "keep out" warning signs.

Beautiful butterflies seem to float off the pages of a dusty old tome, growing as they flit around this library. You can make these creatures in different sizes for your display. You can print the butterflies using our three templates: One for an orange butterfly, another for red specimens, and the last for smaller varieties overall. Print them on heavyweight paper. Trim butterflies roughly, then use some spray adhesive to adhere them to black paper. Carefully cut out each butterfly.
Halloween can be scary, sure. But the thing is, it can be really funny too! Our life-size posable skeletons are a great way to crack people up as they pass your home. These particular boneheads are having some good ol’ family fun with the help of our skeleton stands. Tailor this idea to whatever your family likes to do. These posable skeletons are always funnier in groups. Maybe arrange dad at the grill while pre-teen Tommy sits on the porch playing on his phone while making wise cracks about his teenage sister’s pale cranium. That may seem accurate yet difficult to represent but we believe in you.
Peeping Toms watch out! There’s an oversized evil eye staring right back atcha’! This green demon window cling will make it seem like your house is brimming with possession. People will be convinced that you have to deal with all the classic poltergeist problems on a regular basis. They probably think your dining room chairs pile up when no one is watching, and that your tv turns on by itself at three o’clock in the morning. Luckily for you, no one actually has to deal with these fears in order for folks to think your place is terrifying!

If you're looking for fall decorations of a less frightening variety, we have plenty of harvest-themed decorations that make family and friends feel right at home. Celebrate cooler weather with the warm colors of autumn foliage. Create a planter full of vibrant, seasonal Mums or a display of pumpkins in various shades, shapes, varieties and sizes. Welcome guests with rustic fall wreaths, seasonal door mats and more. Take the theme inside with ceramic and glass pumpkin table toppers, festive candles and candle holders. Whether you prefer live plants or faux pumpkins, our selection of harvest decor ideas is sure to make this fall a fantastic one.
Craft the Doors: Attach three precut 20- by 30-inch pieces of foam core together with spray adhesive. Attach a piece of black paper, cut to size, to the top piece of foam core using spray adhesive. Insert the rectangular piece of two 6-inch stainless steel T-hinges between the first and second pieces of foam core on one of the short sides; “screw” in place. Place a 6 1/2-inch handle on the opposite side; “screw” in place. Cover exposed edges of the foam core with silver duct tape, folding any excess to the back. Make two more doors. Adhere to house door with heavy-duty self-adhesive Velcro. Cut five coffin shapes from black and gray kraft paper. Paint letters on gray coffins with red acrylic paint to spell “morgue” and attach to black coffins with double-sided tape. Hang a plastic chain above the door and attach coffin cutouts with hot-glue.

11.  Halloween Cupcake & Candy Cup Wraps ~ Printable cupcake toppers and candy cup wraps are a fun and easy way to dress up your favorite cupcakes for Halloween.  They are even better if you are short on time.  Buy some cupcakes at the store, dress them up with this kit, and no one will know they didn’t come from your kitchen.  Best part, these Halloween printables are free.

Create giant gothic lanterns using nothing more than our instructions, clip-art designs, and simple supplies. First, print out all of the following templates: this snake lantern, another spooky snake option, and the frog lantern as well. To begin, cut out one of the lantern templates, and trace it four times, side by side, on black paper. Use a bone folder to crease the areas where the sides meet before cutting it out. Print four copies of your chosen design onto vellum using a laser printer, and then cut each piece just larger than the frame's windows. Tape the vellum into a frame, and form into a lamp shape before taping the edges. To finish, cut a 26-inch length of wire and twist a loop in the middle of it; poke the wire ends through the paper to make two holes at the edge of the lantern. Use pliers to roll ends of wire to secure; and then use monofilament to hang two battery-operated votive candles, taped end to end, inside the lantern. Finally, use twine and a removable advise hanger to suspend the lantern in your chosen space.

Everyone’s been waiting all month for one big night. Kids are hooting and hollering in the street to go door to door begging for treats. Are you prepared to put the scare into this weird and wild night? Remember to involve all the elements in your front yard décor. Smoke machines can make a misty atmosphere. A giant spider that dangles overhead requires very little legwork. To begin, use wire cutters to cut eight 26-inches pieces of wire, and then cover the length of one wire with a piece of double-sided tape. Unroll your streamers onto tape and cut them to the proper length; turn the wire over and repeat the process on the other side. Then, create a half-inch fringe on the sides of the streamers using fringe scissors—repeat the process on the other legs as well. Finally, open up a flutter ball and poke your top end of each leg into the ball, securing with tape. Suspend the ball from the ceiling using filament wire.

A large wooden plank is usually an obstacle. However, not this Halloween. A DIY Halloween door decoration this is not. This is a porch decoration. Spray paint and stencils is one way to create this spooky welcome sign. Or the letters can be purchased from a woodworking shop or other area and simply nailed on in the right order. These Halloween house decorations are quite a pop from the traditional ones found in stores, and can be painted in colors to reflect the personality of the family. Who wouldn’t want that?

While hanging a full door covering can be difficult, making a mummy on your door is completely worth it. Bandages or paper tape can be used to create an opaque white sheet on your door. Black construction paper can be cut into a mouth and pupils for the eyes. White construction paper is used to create the corneas of the eyes. However, make sure you leave the knob and whatever locks are on the door uncovered – otherwise it’ll be a scary situation. The best part about this fun Halloween front door decoration is that the bandages can be as thick or as thin as you want them to be.

The iconic striped socks in this decoration evoke memories of watching The Wizard of Oz with a bowlful of popcorn. Keep the memory of Dorothy and her band of misfit heroes alive with this colorful Halloween door hanger. To create a realistic look, you can stuff each sock with old newspaper, other socks or old T-shirts. Choose two different colors of tulle to create contrast and visual interest. Black and yellow works well, as does black and orange, or white and orange – dark colors provide greater contrast against the striped socks. Use a hot glue gun to hold each piece together.

Spooky black-and-orange decorations aren't your thing? Try this pretty alternative: Place white chrysanthemums and ornamental cabbage in cream-colored apple baskets on your front lawn, and surround with white pumpkins and gourds. (Note: For a similar look minus the danger, lanterns and jack-o'-lanterns should always be lit with battery-operated lights, like these LED votives.)

The level of detail in this zombie head is amazing. The paint job on it was terrible and minimal. However a touch of acrylic paint in the shadows and fully color in the details on the eyes/teeth and this thing looks incredible. Best zombie head I've come across. If you have any inclination towards an artistic touch up and you will end up with something impressive. (Pictures show before and after.)
