It did the job of being spooky in my Halloween graveyard...I have to say it was probably my favorite "ground breaker". The stakes are pretty flimsy, but if you poke a hole first in hard ground, then put the stakes in, they work well enough. I may end up purchasing another one for next year. A word of caution though...it is "weather proof" as long as you don't touch it when it's wet from rain or dew. If you do try to dry it off, the white and black "highlight paint" will rub off. Rinse it off from being in the ground, just don't "wash" it.
Want to create the Halloween decorations of your dreams? We think Freddy Krueger window cling is the piece you’re looking for. This cling shows Freddie Krueger at his most menacing. He’s sure to cause jumps and shrieks from folks who walk by your home. Just try not to display this masterpiece in your bedroom. He just might work his way into your dreams.
Take your Halloween party to the next level with our Halloween decorations! We have lots of unique props and Halloween decorations to choose from to make your event extra memorable. Whether you want a pirate chest to keep your beverages chilled or a webcaster gun that will quickly add realistic spider webs to your decor, we have all the best decorations right here!

The head and arms are made from a heavy weight plastic, not out of foam. They are full human size with the face being 8" from chin to top of forehead. There is a concealed stake included to keep the head from blowing away and both "arms" are stakes. It will be a great add to any creepy Halloween graveyard. Just add a little mulch around it to give the appearance of crawling out of the ground. The color is darker than the picture and I like it!

Step 1: Purchase an indoor/outdoor needle-punch carpet. To turn it into a circle: Mark the rug's center point with a Prismacolor white-colored pencil. Measure and mark the distance from that point to a spot about half an inch from the rug's edge. Cut a piece of string to that length. Tie one end of the string to the pencil and secure the other end of the string to the rug's center point with a tack. Pull the string taut and draw a large circle onto the rug; remove the string. Cut out the circle, just inside the white pencil mark, with sharp scissors.

While decorating ideas can be difficult to come across, this spider webby idea can scare anyone. Window clings create a scary giant spider and web. Rat clings can be added to the bottom of the window or the screen door to show a better, scarier scene. The spider web can be created from a window cling or from the fake spider webs available around this time of year. DIY Halloween door decorations have a lot going on this one – the spider and its web can be created with window paint and a steady hand instead of store bought materials, or with tape.

October is a weird month. It’s a season of colorful skies and leaves. But it’s also a month with misty, cold mornings and dark, scraggly trees. It’s fun to mix and match the elements with Halloween décor. A glowing graveyard scene looks plenty cheerful in the light of day, making little kids hoot and holler in holiday excitement as they head home from school. But then night comes along and your little scene will remind the adults walking about of the fear and excitement they felt when they were children. While Christmas décor might inspire folks to go home and drink cocoa, your décor will make people want to curl up in front of their favorite horror movie under a cozy blanket. Sweet or spooky, it’s all about getting into the holiday spirit!

Craft the Doors: Attach three precut 20- by 30-inch pieces of foam core together with spray adhesive. Attach a piece of black paper, cut to size, to the top piece of foam core using spray adhesive. Insert the rectangular piece of two 6-inch stainless steel T-hinges between the first and second pieces of foam core on one of the short sides; “screw” in place. Place a 6 1/2-inch handle on the opposite side; “screw” in place. Cover exposed edges of the foam core with silver duct tape, folding any excess to the back. Make two more doors. Adhere to house door with heavy-duty self-adhesive Velcro. Cut five coffin shapes from black and gray kraft paper. Paint letters on gray coffins with red acrylic paint to spell “morgue” and attach to black coffins with double-sided tape. Hang a plastic chain above the door and attach coffin cutouts with hot-glue.
Tempt your Halloween party guests with an array of candies masquerading as botanical or nautical artifacts. To begin, fill large glass jars with sweets, and then mark each jar with a label that sounds convincing—here, the meringues are "jellyfish skeletons"—while being completely made up. If you don't have a cabinet, you can create your own by arranging the jars in wooden cubbies or crates; we painted these a deep slate gray.

Using black paper or fabric, bats can be traced and cut out to decorate your front door. They can be put on the front door via tape or any other method that you like. A bat template can be found for free on a lot of different websites. Spiders can be created with Styrofoam balls. These are spray painted black. Black pipe cleaners are used as legs, and voila! These Halloween door decorations have a life of their own, and boy do they look the part. For something a little more cartoony, a different color can be used – which also creates an intense look depending on the colors used.
Find anything and everything you need to transform your party space into a place of spine-tingling terror: all sorts of haunted house decor, and all kinds of truly horrifying props. There are so many ways you can spin your Halloween house — with just a few accessories, odds and ends, and seasonal supplies, your Gothic mansion can take on virtually any flavor or theme.
To eerily embrace the Halloween season, one must also embrace its history. The Celtic folklore believed the souls of the dead come back to life and walk among the living on Halloween night.  To make these “souls” feel right at home, many get into the Halloween spirit by decorating their homes and yards with tombstones, skeletons, ghosts and grim reapers.

Halloween can be scary, sure. But the thing is, it can be really funny too! Our life-size posable skeletons are a great way to crack people up as they pass your home. These particular boneheads are having some good ol’ family fun with the help of our skeleton stands. Tailor this idea to whatever your family likes to do. These posable skeletons are always funnier in groups. Maybe arrange dad at the grill while pre-teen Tommy sits on the porch playing on his phone while making wise cracks about his teenage sister’s pale cranium. That may seem accurate yet difficult to represent but we believe in you.

Sometimes, there's safety in numbers. But this Halloween, there's fear—and fabulousness—in a flock. To summon a swarm of nocturnal nomads, use our downloadable template to cut out your own—stick on removable adhesive dots, bend the wings for extra eeriness, and let 'em loose. To spook-ify your nearby windows, mirrors, or your fridge, use vinyl clings instead of paper cutouts.
Do you remember what the best Halloween yard decorations in your neighborhood looked like when you were a kid? (Probably, cause these things make an impact on little children.) We are shuffling through a few memories of awesomely decorated houses in our home towns as we type this. While spooky music and web-covered trees are cool, nothing makes an oversized impression as well as inflatables do! This inflatable carriage brings to mind classic ghost stories told in front of a fireplace, making it the perfect mix of classic and creepy for your visiting trick-or-treaters.

When it comes to Halloween ideas, nothing seems to reflect the holiday better than barren trees with crows flying around. A removable tree decal can really help set the mood for the holiday. While decorated pumpkins and porch signs can create the mood, a large tree can really add a helping branch. Crow decals can add life to the tree, and stuffed crows on the banister of the porch can add even more to the life of the tree. If crows aren’t your style, fake leaves can be drawn on paper and added to the tree – which would then make a really cool party game.
Double, double, toil and trouble - discover our selection of spooky Halloween decor and ideas to give your home the haunted treatment this season. Find wicked ways to dress up your front door for Halloween. Light your front pathway with flameless LED candles or delight trick-or-treaters by decorating your front door with wreaths, LED battery-operated string lights and stylishly carved pumpkins. Or create a scary front door pet cemetery that'll make trick-or-treaters think twice!
All kids like to play pretend. That’s what Halloween is all about. Your little one will feel like their house is protected by a fierce beast when this inflatable dragon is in your yard. Make Halloween more creative than ever with Medieval flair. This is perfect for families who like to dress as knights in shining armor and ancient, wise wizards. Not only will this giant dragon be a landmark for the whole neighborhood, but the whole family can pose in front of it before heading out for trick-or-treating. Year after year, it’s sure to cook up some timeless memories.

While blow up ghosts and plastic skeletons dressed up can cost a lot, taking a simple plastic skeleton can create such an interesting effect. Cool Halloween decorations follow plastic skeletons everywhere. An old white dress can be purchased from a thrift shop or found in your closet. White tulle or mesh can be purchased as well for a fuller look. If the dress is too long for the skeleton, use leftover fabric to create a veil. A spooky Specter bride is preceded by pumpkins as she walks down the aisle – which is your front porch and steps in this case. It doesn’t even have to be a bride. It could simply be a ghost!
The grimmer, the better! Nothing screams "Halloween" quite like scary creatures dangling from tree limbs and rafters, or animated Halloween decor poised to startle trick-or-treaters and party guests. Strategically placed, motion sensor animated props can quickly an ordinary haunted house or graveyard scene into something truly extraordinary, worthy of comments, admiration, and imitation.

To give your doormat this Halloween update, start by downloading the skull family template. Print out as many faces as you have people in household. Use an X-Acto knife or craft knife to cut out faces, eyes, noses, and mouths. Then, arrange the faces as you want them to appear on your mat, adding cut-out letters if you wish. Attach paper to the doormat with folded-up painter's tape on the back. Then, starting with a little paint at a time, dab paint around the stencil with a foam brush. Continue until the entire mat is covered, and let dry completely before you remove the stencils.
Halloween door decorations and ideas don’t always have to involve more than three items. White fabric can be taped to the back of the door after it has been wrapped around the door. Black paper or fabric circles make eyes. A mummy is a one of a kind thing, and the best part is that the front will look good, no matter how ugly or disorganized the back may look. Whether it is cartoony or as lifelike as possible, this is one of the best front door decoration ideas out there for a busy family that wants to make their front door ready for this ghoulish holiday.

Beautiful butterflies seem to float off the pages of a dusty old tome, growing as they flit around this library. You can make these creatures in different sizes for your display. You can print the butterflies using our three templates: One for an orange butterfly, another for red specimens, and the last for smaller varieties overall. Print them on heavyweight paper. Trim butterflies roughly, then use some spray adhesive to adhere them to black paper. Carefully cut out each butterfly.
