It did the job of being spooky in my Halloween graveyard...I have to say it was probably my favorite "ground breaker". The stakes are pretty flimsy, but if you poke a hole first in hard ground, then put the stakes in, they work well enough. I may end up purchasing another one for next year. A word of caution though...it is "weather proof" as long as you don't touch it when it's wet from rain or dew. If you do try to dry it off, the white and black "highlight paint" will rub off. Rinse it off from being in the ground, just don't "wash" it.
Want to create the Halloween decorations of your dreams? We think Freddy Krueger window cling is the piece you’re looking for. This cling shows Freddie Krueger at his most menacing. He’s sure to cause jumps and shrieks from folks who walk by your home. Just try not to display this masterpiece in your bedroom. He just might work his way into your dreams.
Take your Halloween party to the next level with our Halloween decorations! We have lots of unique props and Halloween decorations to choose from to make your event extra memorable. Whether you want a pirate chest to keep your beverages chilled or a webcaster gun that will quickly add realistic spider webs to your decor, we have all the best decorations right here!

The head and arms are made from a heavy weight plastic, not out of foam. They are full human size with the face being 8" from chin to top of forehead. There is a concealed stake included to keep the head from blowing away and both "arms" are stakes. It will be a great add to any creepy Halloween graveyard. Just add a little mulch around it to give the appearance of crawling out of the ground. The color is darker than the picture and I like it!

Step 1: Purchase an indoor/outdoor needle-punch carpet. To turn it into a circle: Mark the rug's center point with a Prismacolor white-colored pencil. Measure and mark the distance from that point to a spot about half an inch from the rug's edge. Cut a piece of string to that length. Tie one end of the string to the pencil and secure the other end of the string to the rug's center point with a tack. Pull the string taut and draw a large circle onto the rug; remove the string. Cut out the circle, just inside the white pencil mark, with sharp scissors.

Rat clings can be added to the bottom of the window or the screen door to show a better, scarier scene. The spider web can be created from a window cling or from the fake spider webs available around this time of year. DIY Halloween door decorations have a lot going on this one – the spider and its web can be created with window paint and a steady hand instead of store bought materials, or with tape.

Here at Spirit, our Halloween animatronics are more than just moving and talking props; they're characters all of their own, with each featuring a different backstory. And the best part? You can decide whether or not to include in your haunted home, or to create your own stories for these horrifying creatures. You won't have to worry about your guests finding your haunted home to be a bit lackluster (and you won't have to hire your family members to jump out and scare people every time!) when you set up these animatronics in any or every room.

October is a weird month. It’s a season of colorful skies and leaves. But it’s also a month with misty, cold mornings and dark, scraggly trees. It’s fun to mix and match the elements with Halloween décor. A glowing graveyard scene looks plenty cheerful in the light of day, making little kids hoot and holler in holiday excitement as they head home from school. But then night comes along and your little scene will remind the adults walking about of the fear and excitement they felt when they were children. While Christmas décor might inspire folks to go home and drink cocoa, your décor will make people want to curl up in front of their favorite horror movie under a cozy blanket. Sweet or spooky, it’s all about getting into the holiday spirit!
Create your own creepy graveyard scene with our Halloween tombstones and outdoor cemetery decorations, all-weather outdoor Halloween decorations that are good for indoor use as well. Here you'll find all the cemetery decorations you need: gothic fencing, dense foam tombstones "weathered" to look like the real things, light-up lawn skeletons, plastic chains with shackles, and "keep out" warning signs.

Create this arm-bone frame to display our clip-art sea-life print or another suitably spooky work of art. To make your own, download an illustration of urchins and coral. Take the file to a copy center to have it printed full-size (24 by 36 inches). You can choose a print of your own in a similar size instead. Using spray adhesive, adhere the print to foam board. Since you will not need the shoulder blades, unscrew them from the arms. Determine placement of arm bones: Place them on foam board, so their elbows are at the corners and hands reach along the sides. Anchor one arm at a time to foam board: Using a tapestry needle threaded with monofilament, and starting on the back side, sew through the foam board, loop monofilament over a bone, then push the needle back through; knot. Repeat a few times in the same spot. Then repeat this stitching in several other spots along the arm.
Is there any better way to set a spooky scene than by using a totally awesome fog machine? Create the eerie fog of your dreams with one of our fog machines from Spirit Halloween! Brew some magic of your own when you have the fog coming out of a large witch's cauldron, or set the scene for any zombie-filled graveyard. Make the scene all the more realistic when you get one of our low-lying fog machines, which are easier to keep out of sight and make the foggy illusion even more convincing. Is that a fog machine, or are the ghosts of the forgotten truly rising from their graves? Only you will know for sure!
Do you remember what the best Halloween yard decorations in your neighborhood looked like when you were a kid? (Probably, cause these things make an impact on little children.) We are shuffling through a few memories of awesomely decorated houses in our home towns as we type this. While spooky music and web-covered trees are cool, nothing makes an oversized impression as well as inflatables do! This inflatable carriage brings to mind classic ghost stories told in front of a fireplace, making it the perfect mix of classic and creepy for your visiting trick-or-treaters.
You could even lead your guests straight into your haunted home with a trail of lights to guide their way--the kids will love following the lights all the way up to your door! Or, if you want to focus on your home, then why not decorate your porch with Halloween lights? It'll certainly make your home the brightest one on the block! So whether you just want a few light-up decorations or you want to go all out with a Halloween light show, Spirit is here to make your Halloween as bright or as eerie as you want it to be.
There's no faster and more affordable way to transform a room. Wall, window, and hanging Halloween decorations are light enough to hang with tape or tacks, yet they easily fill a party space with color, a fascinating mix of textures, and visual weight. From kid-friendly pumpkin lanterns and fan garlands to six-foot long banners and creepy clown swirls, you'll find them all here.
Make the Wreath: Cut 150 6-inch-long strips of 2-inch-wide black grosgrain ribbon. Fold the strips in half and attach them to a 16-inch foam wreath form with straight pins, layering them on top of each other to create a ruffle effect. Cut out a silhouette of a witch from black kraft paper. Attach it to the center of a 16-inch round clear piece of acrylic with double-sided tape. Hot-glue the edges of the acrylic round to the back of the wreath form. Finish with a bow with long tails.

However Halloween decorating doesn’t have to be so ominous.  Indoor/outdoor decorating is something the whole family can do together.  No matter how you decorate; whether it’s ghoulish and gruesome or more kid friendly with spooky skeletons and fun jack-o-lanterns, we have what you’re looking for.  In addition to carrying more Halloween costumes than anyone, we have one of the largest selections of Halloween decorations, props and accessories you’ll find anywhere online.  And if you want to learn more about the origins and history of Halloween props along with more details on the types of modern day props, check out our article on Everything You Wanted to Know About Halloween Props.
To eerily embrace the Halloween season, one must also embrace its history. The Celtic folklore believed the souls of the dead come back to life and walk among the living on Halloween night.  To make these “souls” feel right at home, many get into the Halloween spirit by decorating their homes and yards with tombstones, skeletons, ghosts and grim reapers.
Sure, a jack-o'-lantern or two is nice—and certainly classic!—but haven't you already been there and done that? This year, it's time to step it up a notch in terms of both originality and spookiness. Whether you opt for something more traditional (think: a few painted pumpkins, pots of fresh fall flowers, and a fall wreath or two) or aim for something a little more advanced (a DIY array of festive lanterns could be nice, or a pair of eerie-looking "floating hats"), we can practically guarantee there's something on our list for you.
It looks like you’ve got an uninvited guest in your house. Wait, look how fabulous and sparkly this dead creature is! Maybe this figure isn’t invited but there’s no way it’s unwelcome. Pose this dazzling life size skeleton throughout your home to make your house both spooky and classy at the same time. Pair it with ravens, spiderwebs, and sparkly pumpkins to set the scene in your entry way or living room. This skeleton is perfect for Halloween cocktail parties or peeking out the front windows to greet trick-or-treaters. Who knows! This skeleton might be your favorite guest this Halloween!

Protect your work surface from paint using newspaper or a drop sheet. Place the tin container on the newspaper with the opening facing down. Following the instructions provided on the paint can, apply the orange spray paint to the outside of the tin container. Repeat as needed until you achieve the desired coverage (in our case, 5-6 coats of spray paint were needed for full coverage). Leave it to dry fully before moving on to the next steps.

Halloween Express has everything from spooky Halloween home decor to commercial grade Halloween Decorations and Props. Halloween decorations can turn your yard into a ghoulish graveyard, a chilling cemetery or an evil yard haunt. A thin layer of mist slithering along the ground and that sinister sound raising the hair on the back of your neck is the perfect finishing touch. Give your neighbors something to talk about by turning your yard into a landscape of terror.
We covered the exterior of your house a while back. It’s time to recognize one of the most important interior doors in your house, the bathroom door. Sooner or later, all the guests at your Halloween party are going to need to use the john. Might as well make that trip both thematic and hilarious. We all have gotten freaked out by the bathrooms in horror movies. It’s time to lighten up that impression with this embarrassed skeleton who just wants some private time, gosh-darn it! Simply stick this door cover on and your Halloween visitors will be delighted when they need to answer the call of nature.

These DIY creations feature the best of the best (a.k.a. witches, ghosts, and mummies!) and will impress trick-or-treaters and party guests alike.
